DASH Agreements
Here you'll find legal information and resources for using the DASH platform.
How do the store agreements work?

Initial Hire Agreement
Items purchased through the Store are initially hired to you over 12 months in line with Cycle to Work rules. During this time, you’ll pay for the full cost of the item via salary sacrifice.

Extended Use Agreement
Towards the end of the initial hire agreement, we’ll offer you continued use of the item at no additional cost for a further period (we'll assume by default you want to take this offer up unless you say otherwise) to take the total hire period to 6 years. At the end of this, we’ll gift you the item for free. This is done so that HMRC recognises the item as having nil value and means we can transfer ownership to you without any tax implications or requirement for end-of-hire charges as with some other schemes.

What if I leave the business during this period?
If you leave during your initial hire period, then any outstanding charges will be added to your final payslip. You'll then be able to keep your items through our extended use agreement, which will start the day after you leave the business. If you leave during the extended use period, there will be no impact to this agreement since it is exclusively between you and DASH and doesn’t involve your employer or you being employed.

How do the subscription agreements work?

Our flexible subscriptions are designed to offer you great value and maximum flexibility. Here's how they work:

Plan Length: When choosing your bike, you'll also choose a plan length, this is effectively a minimum commitment length for how long you'd like to keep the bike. The longer you commit, the lower the monthly price and at the end of your plan length, your subscription will continue on a rolling monthly basis.

Extensions & Upgrades: If you're not ready to commit to a longer period when you sign up, don't worry! You can extend your commitment period at any time to take advantage of better pricing. Once you're outside of your commitment period, we also give you the opportunity to upgrade to a different bike if you wish.

Cancellations: We understand that circumstances can change, so you're able to cancel your subscription at any time. If you cancel during your commitment period, there may be a cancellation fee of up to £150. We're not trying to penalise you for leaving early; we just want to reward loyalty and keep our prices low for our subscribers.
