About DASH & the role

DASH (www.dashrides.com) is a high-growth startup on a mission to get more people cycling! We’ve reimagined the UK’s long-standing Cycle-to-Work scheme, transforming it from an employee benefit on the hygiene list to the hero list; giving employees more choice, flexibility, convenience and clarity than ever before. That’s why many describe DASH Store as the #1 Cycle to Work platform.

We’re a lean team that likes to innovate and win: we’ve led the market with our overall platform and launched innovative products like subscriptions and, most recently, DASH Flex.

This is our first dedicated Client Success hire, positioning you as the face of DASH for our clients. You’ll own the relationships end-to-end, coordinating internally, and raising the bar on launch communications and ongoing engagement so schemes thrive long after go-live. As the founding member of Success, you’ll work closely with the Founder & CEO to define what “excellent” looks like and set the standard as we scale.

If you’re personable, organised, diligent, and can write and create simple, effective comms, this is your platform to grow as we build an iconic client experience engine.

Our dream: we’ve our future Head of Success in you!

What you’ll do

  • Client relationships: Become the trusted point of contact for HR/Reward, Payroll and Finance stakeholders. Build strong relationships and keep clients feeling seen and supported.
  • Onboarding & launch: Project-manage new employer launches with clear timelines, stakeholder updates, and a smooth handover from Sales to live operation. Keep excitement high from the moment they sign to the first approved employee order and beyond.
  • Platform support: Triage and resolve queries quickly (with Product/Ops support when needed). Maintain a tidy ticket queue and a lightweight knowledge base/FAQ for common questions.
  • Build our playbook: Create and run targeted comms plans (emails, posters, intranet copy, Slack/Teams messages, launch decks) that drive employee uptake. Write clean copy and produce on-brand assets.
  • Client insight: Capture feedback, spot patterns (payroll, policy, eligibility), and feed improvements into our playbooks, templates and product roadmap.

What success looks like (first 3 months)

  • 30 days: You understand DASH, our platform and key client personas. You’re independently onboarding small clients and supporting comms at larger ones.
  • 60 days: You own relationships with mid-sized clients and handle more complex platform/payroll questions confidently. You’ve built and implemented a launch-comms playbook for clients.
  • 90 days: You manage a book of business spanning companies from 10 to 5,000 employees. You’re confident leading client onboarding of any size. You’re executing your plan to keep clients engaged, and can see how the role can develop over time to deliver more client value.

About you (this is really important)

We’re looking for someone exceptional.

  • Personable & professional: You build trust quickly and communicate with warmth and clarity.
  • Organised & diligent: You love checklists, tidy notes and reliable follow-through; nothing slips.
  • Strong writer with an eye for design: You can turn complex topics (payroll, finance, tax) into friendly copy and lay out emails/posters that people actually read (Canva/Figma/Slides welcome).
  • Calm problem-solver: You stay composed under pressure, ask good questions, and get issues resolved quickly.
  • Initiative & grit: You can point to something you chose to do, outside a syllabus or script, where you stuck with it and made it great.
  • Data-aware: Comfortable with light analysis (open rates, uptake %, simple spreadsheets) to guide decisions.
  • High integrity: You’ll handle sensitive payroll/employee data and represent DASH: discretion and judgment matter.

Requirements

  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Speak English to a native standard.
  • Willing to work in the office, probably 5 days a week - we want to teach you everything we know, make you feel part of the team and get you to the top of your game - for us, that means we need you in the office.

Compensation & benefits

  • Base: £28,000–£30,000.
  • Benefits: Pension, 28 days’ holiday, Cycle to Work via DASH, free team lunches, regular team socials.

How we hire and how to stand out

  1. Intro call (10 mins) - A brief chat to understand why you’ve applied and learn what your CV doesn’t say about you.
  2. Practical chat (30mins) - with the CEO & Founder. We’ll spend 10mins covering a practical exercise which will require a small amount of preparation from you and might include discussing a comms strategy you’ve put together, a poster you’ve created (we’ll give you a simple brief well in advance).
  3. Final meet (30 mins) - an in-person meeting (in London) with at least one other member of the team, so we can meet each other and ensure fit (works both ways).

We’re looking to make our final offer by early-November at the latest.

To stand out, aside from seeing that your CV addresses most of what we are looking for, we want to see some initiative or flair from you - nothing overly time-consuming - but something that shows initiative, that you can think outside the box and which plays to what we’ve said we’re looking for.
